Laser tattoo removal: How does it work?

Lasers are unique in that they produce considerable energy, generating a "shock wave".
The expansion of this shock wave pulverizes the tattoo pigments, giving rise to much smaller pigment particles that are eliminated by the body's own cells.
The tattoo then fades, session after session, until the patient achieves the desired result.

Does laser tattoo removal hurt?

Patients describe a "rubber band" sensation in the treated area.
An anaesthetic cream may be prescribed if necessary.

I have black or mixed-race skin. Can I have laser tattoo removal?

Yes !
Matt and black skin can be detatched with a few precautions.
