How many sessions for one woman?
The number of sessions varies according to the area treated:
- Bikini line, underarms: 6 to 8 sessions
- Legs: 6 to 10 sessions
- Face (lip, chin): 6 to 12 sessions (hormone-dependent area)
- Body (stomach, back, arms): 6 to 8 sessions
The interval between sessions is 6 to 8 weeks for the body and 4 to 6 weeks for the face. The laser only works on hairs in the growth phase (20 to 30% of hairs at each session), hence the need for several appointments.

Laser hair removal is contraindicated for pregnant women and while breast-feeding. This is a strict contraindication at CtrlZ. If you discover that you’re pregnant during the protocol, we’ll simply put your package on hold until you’ve finished breast-feeding.
Hirsutism and PCOS
Women suffering fromhirsutism or polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) can benefit from laser hair removal. The treatment is effective, but additional sessions and regular maintenance are often required. Parallel medical follow-up is recommended to treat the hormonal cause.

Is laser hair removal painful?
